BY ACCESSING OR USING INDEEN ISLAMIC DIGITAL TOOLS (THE "SERVICE"), YOU AGREE TO BE BOUND BY THESE TERMS OF SERVICE. IF YOU DO NOT AGREE TO ALL OF THESE TERMS, DO NOT ACCESS OR USE THE SERVICE.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User," "you," or "your") and Indeen ("we," "us," or "our") regarding your use of the Indeen Islamic Digital Tools web application and related services (collectively, the "Service").
2. Description of Service
Indeen provides Islamic digital tools including:
- Prayer time schedules and notifications (InTime)
- Dhikr tracking and counters (InCount)
- Islamic reflection tools (InCheck)
- Sunnah worship guides (InBrief)
- Quran-related tools (InSolah, InRead)
The Service is provided free of charge as a Progressive Web Application (PWA).
3. Eligibility and Registration
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.
No registration or account creation is required to use the Service. The Service operates using local browser storage only.
4. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Not use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Service
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service
- Not use automated systems or software to extract data from the Service
- Comply with all applicable laws and regulations
5. Intellectual Property Rights
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Indeen and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.
You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes only.
6. Third-Party Content and Services
The Service may include:
- Prayer time calculations from Aladhan API
- External libraries (Moment.js, JS-Cookie)
- Google Fonts for typography
These third-party services are subject to their own terms and conditions. We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third-party services.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted or error-free
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
- The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable
- Any errors in the Service will be corrected
8. Religious Disclaimer
CRITICAL DISCLAIMER: Indeen is a digital tool provider and NOT a religious authority.
- Prayer times are calculated approximations and may not be accurate for your specific location
- You MUST verify prayer times with your local mosque or official Islamic authority
- The Service does not provide religious rulings (fatwas) or Islamic jurisprudence
- Consult qualified Islamic scholars for religious matters
- We are not responsible for any missed prayers or religious obligations based on times provided
Use the Service at your own discretion and verify all religious matters with proper authorities.
9. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL INDEEN, ITS DEVELOPERS, AFFILIATES, OR SERVICE PROVIDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, EXEMPLARY, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM:
- Your use or inability to use the Service
- Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers and/or any personal information stored therein
- Any interruption or cessation of transmission to or from the Service
- Any bugs, viruses, or the like that may be transmitted to or through the Service
- Any errors or omissions in any content or for any loss or damage incurred as a result of the use of any content posted, emailed, transmitted, or otherwise made available through the Service
10. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Indeen, its developers, affiliates, and service providers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses, or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your violation of these Terms or your use of the Service.
11. Data and Privacy
All data generated and stored by the Service remains locally on your device. We do not have access to your personal data. For more information, please review our Privacy Policy.
Data Loss Warning
Since data is stored locally in your browser:
- Clearing browser data will delete all your Indeen settings
- Data is not backed up on our servers
- Data does not sync between devices or browsers
- We are not responsible for any data loss
12. Modifications to Service and Terms
We reserve the right to:
- Modify or discontinue the Service at any time without notice
- Change these Terms at any time
- Update or change features of the Service
Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
13. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach these Terms.
All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination, including, without limitation, ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnity, and limitations of liability.
14. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court, the remaining provisions of these Terms will remain in effect.
16. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Indeen regarding the Service and supersede all prior agreements and understandings, whether written or oral.
